Welcome, I’m Dana
Each of us has a story. Mine is woven into my poetry collection, FIVE A.M. THE SILENCE AFTER GOODBYE, a book I never imagined writing. It began in the wake of losing my beloved brother, Arman, in 2019. His tragic passing reshaped the way I see loss, mental health, and the unspoken battles so many face.

I am dedicated to breaking the silence around depression and mental health —an experience that touches countless lives yet often remains misunderstood. I also stand alongside immigrants navigating not only the legal system but the trauma of domestic violence and the uncertainty of rebuilding a life in a new country.

Through storytelling, advocacy, and open conversations, we can create a world where no one carries their burdens alone. Healing is possible, and even in the darkest moments, light remains.

Wherever you are on your journey, you are seen, you are heard, and you are never alone.

"In the silence of deepest grief,
I reclaimed my voice."

FIVE A.M. THE SILENCE AFTER GOODBYE
FIVE A.M. THE SILENCE AFTER GOODBYE is a deeply personal exploration of grief, love, and healing after the tragic loss of my little brother, Arman, to suicide. This collection of poems and memories offers a raw and honest look into my journey through profound heartache, while also telling a story of resilience, hope, and finding strength in unexpected places.
Within these pages, you’ll also discover Arman’s writing—his voice, his soul—a way for me to keep his spirit alive and honor a brother I will never stop loving or remembering.
This book is an invitation to anyone who has experienced loss to find comfort, understanding, and healing. It’s a reminder that, even in our darkest moments, love can carry us forward, and that with time, even the deepest sorrow can transform into peace.
