"What can loving someone, losing them, and continuing without them teach us about living?"

About the Anthology

This Is How I Remember You: Personal Stories of Love After Suicide Loss is a collective anthology bringing together personal stories from people who have lost someone they love to suicide.

At the heart of this book is a simple belief: a person's final day should never become their whole story.

Through memories, lived experiences, and honest reflections, contributors will remember the people they loved beyond the way they died—who they were, what they meant to us, and the lives they lived. The anthology will also explore what came after: how loss changed those left behind, what helped us continue, what we understand differently now, and what we still carry.

These stories come from different relationships, cultures, ages, and life experiences, but together they speak to something deeply human—love, grief, memory, and learning to continue living while carrying someone with us.

Publication date to be announced.

"We cannot choose how the people we love leave this world, but we can choose how we remember them."
